Celebrating Heathrow’s landmark 70th birthday. #LHR70
To celebrate the airport’s birthday we uncovered the stories that made Heathrow special. We told some of the most interesting tales behind their most treasured characters, from the resident photographer, Dennis Stone, the Godfather of Heathrow, to the inner workings of the control tower and even one of the last Concorde pilots. The unique characteristic about Heathrow is that everyone has a story from passing through the airport, so we helped source the British public’s finest stories and told them through an #LHR70 hub., creating a tapestry of the people’s favorite memories of the iconic airport. We also produced an #LHR70 podcast that gives anyone access to some of the most secret parts of the airport, from the zoo to the uber VIP.
